Hehe.. betullah orang kata, you'll never know what it's like until you're in the person's shoe.
Aku tak pernah expect orang lain untuk faham aku sehabis tepat... sehinggalah aku jumpa website ni. Lama dah aku dok ikut. Makin hari makin aku rasa dibogelkan oleh most of the comic strips! Ya Allah, diorang ni buat cerita aku ke apa nih? Apsal sebijik macam yang aku rasa??!!

So, kalau korang nak rasa life PhD student, atau terfikir nak buat PhD, bacalah kartun ni.. Memang tak lari jauh dari kehidupan sebenar calon PhD. Tak kiralah bidang apa, aku rasa sama je. Heh..

Yang paling best, Abdurrahman, 3 tahun pun masuk gak dalam citer nih! Aduiii.. diorang ni teropong aku ke apa?? Memang sama sebijik dengan perangai Abdurrahman!

Nak tengok apa dok ada dalam brain PhD student? Ni haa..

Just recently, when Prof. W asked me how's my data turn out, this is exactly what happenend! Err..I mean my respond was exactly that.. not his! :D

And last but not least... this is so-o-o me!! :p

Ilmu, hidayah dan kefahaman.. semuanya datang dari Allah. Seperti mana yang dimaksudkan dalam surah alAnkabut ayat 43,

"Dan misal-misal perbandingan yang demikian itu Kami kemukakan kepada umat manusia, dan hanya orang-orang yang berilmu yang dapat memahaminya".

Ya Allah, kurniakan kami ilmu yang bermanfaat, amin. Allahumma faqqihna fid deen wa 'alimna takwil. 

Kuali ke Quali?

Haa.. kalau kuali tu aku tau sangat. Kat rumah aku ada tiga je kuali. Satu kuali kecik leper (non-stick frying pan).. yang ni goreng instant2 punya.. telur ke, roti ke, tauhu ke. Satu lagi kuali besar dalam (non-stick jugak, sauce pan).. yang ni kalau nak masak nasi goreng ke, pasta ke, kuah-kuah yang lambat masak.. sebab tebal, lambat panas. Lepas tu sebab nak jaga coating non-stick tu aku tak guna api besar.. paling besar pun sederhana je. Last sekali, kuali sedang nipis.. ala, kuali besi bontot hitam tu la.. haa, yang ni paling selalu aku guna.. sebab cepat panas. Semua boleh masak guna kuali ni.

Quali?

Ni yang fenin ni.. qualitative research questions alone are not that hard to understand. But having to mix them with the quantitative part is quite a challenge. Tolooonnn…!! Pulak tu kena last minute pulak tukar ni..Allahu Rabbii… mana masanya nak panik-panik lagi ni haa… adooii.. Phone pulak time ni la dia nak rosak pun..! Contact number respondent semua dalam tu. Notes on research yang kecik-kecik pun semua dalam tu.

To ask or not to ask!

I know the motivation prior to this is to ask (Ask, Iza..Ask!).

But lately I have developed a habit of not asking.. or talking as much as before.

Reason: fear of annoying and devastating replies.

Just because of that, I am now a calmer and a quieter person, if you look at me once lah. That is very superficial. 

And if you stare hard and long enough, you will find my chaotic mind trying to find peace at the unresolved questions lingering in my thoughts!  Oh no! This is worst than those replies!!

Then, how? What to do?

Should I really stop asking? And let my curiosity die? Or just ask..and swallow the bitterness of the replies. 

Even in the heavens people could not refrain themselves from asking one another. (Human, still kaypochi even in the heavens! Astaghfirullah!) Allah mentioned in surah al-Muddaththir verse 40 to 47 which means:

"They will be) in Gardens (of Delight); they will question each other. And (ask) of the Sinners: "What led you into Hell-Fire?" They will say: "We were not of those who prayed;" "Nor were we of those who fed the indigent;" "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers;" "And we used to deny the Day of Judgement" "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain."
